Lets pray for revival in this county. In us and in Gods church. Lets pray for the lost in our backyards. Lets pray for our Jerusalem Acts 1:8, that we will start here in our home town and spread to our Judea and our Samaria and to the ends of the earth. Lets pray that God will get all praise and glory everyday from us. Let our hearts cry be, even so come Lord Jesus. Come.

I have a couple in my Sunday School class who has a son that has been sick for a while. He just can't seem to beat whatever he has. He has been to several doctors. They go back this week. Please remember him in your prayers and pray that God will direct the doctors.
Thanks.

As most of you know, alog side pastoring, I am also a chaplain for St. Vincent's Health System. For the past 7 months, I have been part-time, but the Hospital has approached me about talking a possible full-time chaplain position with the system. Please just pray that if this the God's will, that He will fling the door open widely, and I will be faithful to him to enter. If not, then pray that I will understand His will, and continue to "press on" for Him.

Most of you know my nephew, Joel Bell, Dana and Todd's 9 year old son. He has been having some medical difficulties for months now, and it looks like he will have a fairly long road to recovery. Please pray for him, as well as Todd, Dana and Hannah, that God will give them patience and endurance.

Brad, we will be praying for Joel. I was not in the know about the medical problem. I will be praying the whole family. Also, I was wondering how the chaplin deal was coming. Any direction on that yet?

Phillip, any update on little boy?
We will continue prayers for that.

I have a request for you guys. Please be praying for my church. We are about to enter a stewardship campaign and you all are aware of the things that can happen. I have read in several places where churches involved in a building/stewardship campaign is a prime opportunity for satan to attack the church. Also, there is a kid in my youth group who is so close to knowing Christ as his savior. His name is Tyler. I have witnessed to him personally so has a few others. He is really close. He is VERY shy but has been asking lots of questions lately.

I am so thankful to have friends who I know I can come to with a prayer request and know that you will be praying. I thank God for each of you. I pray for you all and love you.

Actually, Joel is the boy I was requesting prayer for. Thanks for praying.

Stewardship campaigns can be hazardous on potential grounds for Satan. I will pray for you and your church.

I appreciate everyone's prayers. My nephew seems to be doing a little better, but is still in need of our prayers. Also, with the chaplain position at East, I have my final interview today with our Vice President of Mission Intergration for the entire St. Vincent's health system, so hopefully I'll know something very soon. Just lift a quick prayer for me this afternoon (Wednesday) at 3:30 p.m.

Can I ask that you pray for the Children's Committee at First Baptist Church, Moody? I ask that you pray for our leadership in making decisions. Pray that our church will adopt the vision and mission that Jesus intended.

Jesus mentions specific groups to which we are to minister. Of course the lost. He also mentions the widows, poor, hungry, naked, those in prison, and the children. However, I see the priority of Jesus as he adds consequences for those who hinder the children. The idea of a grit stone around my neck does not appeal. I don’t even like wearing ties. I pray that I, the children’s committee, and the church do not hinder the children from coming to Him.

Thanks for your prayers.

Hey folks, Sorry it has been so long in updating. Thanks for all the prayers for me and the ministry at the hospital. I am the newest chaplain for St. Vincent's East Hospital, which will move me from part time at St. Clair, to full time at East. That is a blessing for my family. My nephew seems to be doing some better, but things are still taken one day at a time. Keep up the prayers, and know that I pray for each of you daily.

My heart is heavy this morning, my church will be hosting revival next week. We had a pretty intense prayer meeting last night concerning the hearts of our country, community and church. Bro. Chris just returned from the Dominican Republic. He mentiond services being held in small buildings with quilts placed over polls to give shade. He also said they did not want the service to end, that he had to preach one night when he was not scheduled, simply because people wanted to hear the word. Guys, God wants us, but God does not have to have us to complete his will, he can take a D.R. preacher with a 7th grade education, a bible and a passion for God to spread his message. We have got to want to be used by God. The United States has got to the point they don't need God. Look back a couple of years, we had the strongest economy, we have become fat due to overindulgence, the medical breakthroughs alone are remarkable. "We don't need God anymore"? "Let me tell you, God is about to humble this nation. Please pray with me. Isaiah 64 says, Oh that you would burst forth from the skies and come down! How the mountains would quake in you presense! The comuming fire of your glory would burn down the forest and boil the oceans dry. The nations would tremble before you; your enemies would learn the reason for your fame! Please pray with me for the lost and the harden christians in our lives and our revival service next week

Paul
